Aragaki Mutsumi arranges and composes traditional Okinawan music with her unique interpretation and world view. Mutsumi was selected as one of the six artists in Japan for the WOMEX2021 Official Showcase Artist, the world's largest world music expo, and the first solo artist from Okinawa. His first solo album "Another World of Okinawan Music" was selected as "the best world music recordings released in 2021 so far" by BBC music magazine(UK). Selected as one of the "23 best traditional pop albums of Japan Japan" by Music Magazine(Japan). Grandson of Asaki Fukuhara and Kyoko Fukuhara, masters of Okinawan music.

◼︎Tsukayama Kozue

Composer and pianist.

Born in Uruma City, Okinawa. Graduated from Koyo Music School with a major in Jazz piano. Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, School of Music, majoring in composition.

She has participated as a pianist in Hiroshi Yoshino's Pacific Rim Trio Neo, one of the leading jazz bassists in Japan. She has also performed with many prominent artists in Okinawa Prefecture, including as support Keybordist for Laori Futenma and DIAMANTES. In 2023, she published two pieces for flute quartet and trombone ensemble from Tida Publishing. Currently based in Okinawa, she participates in manycultural activities while being involved in the training og younger musicians.
