Born on September 4, 1990 in Okinawa, Japan.

In 2008, she made her major label debut as "Stereo Pony" with Sony Records, and her second single "Tears in the Heart" became the first Heisei-born single to reach No.2 on the charts. She has appeared on music programs such as Music Station and at major events such as Summer Sonic. She has also been active in a wide range of activities, including being a cover model for the magazine "KARA". In 2011, she released "Arigato(Thank you)", the theme song for the movie "Yell from Heaven"(starring Hiroshi Abe), which is set in Ajisai Music Village in Okinawa, where she has her roots. In 2012, they held their last live concert "Stereo Pony Final Live~BEST of STEREOPONY~" at Akasaka BLITZ, and disbanded on the same day.

After that, she became the vocalost of"ALICE IN UNDERGROUND" and started AIMI's solo activities in earnest in 2016. 2017 saw the simultaneous release of two songs on LINE MUSIC in Feburuary, a single for four consecutive weeks in March, and the successful completion of her first solo live "ColourCollection" in April. In September 2017, she started a full album production project on crowdfunding site CAMPFIRE and reached their goal within 8 minutes. The final result was 360% of the target amount.

In January 2018, released "FAKE", the ending theme song for the Amazon original drama"Chase"starring Ryohei Otani and Tsubasa Honda; in March, released "HEART+"an insert song for the movie "Nunuko no sei★sen~harajuku story~"starring Rinka Kumada and Rinne Yoshida; on April 4, released their first full album "On September 4, they held a successful solo live "AMILLION Happy Birthday Party"at WWW. 2019 June, Releaed "LIMITED CD" for a limited time and limited venues; on September 4, launched her own label "OHELLO RECORDS" and released "KATAKOI.Happy Birthday" and started distributing 4 songs.
